Intro. to Computer Science

This semester-long course teachers valuable computing and coding skills through topics such as:

• Basic and intermediate computing

• Web and app development

• Animation and games
• Digital design

We will cover off on Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills for Technology Applications standards which include six strands: creativity and innovation; communication and collaboration; research and information fluency; critical thinking, problem solving and decision making; digital citizenship and technology operations and concepts.

These topics will enable students to develop digital literacy skills they can utilize in any field.
